International fees per course
Lincoln College arranges homestay (host family) accommodation for international students on full-time courses.
Students who are under 18 stay with a host family. Students who are 18+ can choose to stay with a host family, in private rented accommodation or in student accommodation (halls of residence).
Living with a Host Family (Homestay)
Homestay families live in the city centre and in the surrounding residential areas that have good bus links to the College.
Living with a family offers you the chance to practise your English, learn about British food, culture and traditions,
make friends with local people and be part of a family.
Live in a welcoming, safe and caring home in the UK; all homestays are inspected and monitored. They agree to provide the following:
The cost of homestay for 2016 - 2017 is £115 per week.
Student Accommodation (Halls of Residence)
Student accommodation is only available for students aged 18+; Lincoln College may be able to help arrange this.
There is very high demand so you need to sign an agreement for the full academic year (until July) and pay a deposit well in advance. Kitchen and laundry facilities are available on site; students need to buy and prepare their own meals, as well as doing their own laundry.
Rooms occasionally become available in October/November so we recommend that students start in homestay accommodation initially while they wait for a possible vacancy.
Privately-rented Flats and Houses
This accommodation is only available for students aged 18+; you will have to sign a rental agreement (a legal document) with a landlord - through a letting agent.
Lincoln College cannot arrange private accommodation.
You may choose to start in homestay accommodation initially and look for private accommodation once you are familiar with the local area. Information is available from letting agents.
Prices start from around £60 per week, depending on facilities.
Tier 4 is part of the UK Visa & Immigration’s (UKVI) points-based system for immigration. It is for students who want to study in the UK.
You need to apply for a Tier 4 Student Visa if you want to study in the UK and with a Tier 4 Student Visa you must take actions following the Tier 4 Rules & Regulations.
