Amani attended the WinTRADE Women in Business Awards in London last week where she was presented with a Special Recognition Award for her work in Saudi Arabia at the Lincoln College Group’s International Female Technical College in Qatief.
She works as the Career Centre Manager at the College and was given the award in recognition of her dedication and commitment to the development of hundreds of young women in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, where she gives them access to invaluable hands on ‘on-the-job’ training with businesses such as Pepsico, P&G and many more.
She said “We live in a very exciting time for Saudi females.
“It is my great pleasure and privilege to be here and share my experiences with you all.
“I’d say the most important skill for me as been my resilience, and it’s something we try and instil in all of our female students at the College.
“I always say work hard, we have to break this barrier.”
