The DfE representatives met with senior leaders, tutors and students as they toured the Policing College, the Air and Space Institute, the Care College, the Air & Defence College and the Institute of Technology.
Lincoln College Principal and CEO Mark Locking said: “This was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the amazing work our staff and students do.
“We focused on areas of our provision that we have transformed in recent years to meet the needs of local employers.
“We have worked with local firms to remap qualifications and add key employability and productivity training to make sure our students have the confidence, values and leadership skills they need to really succeed in their chosen industry.
“The results have been incredible, with significantly improved achievement rates – and more importantly – great career destinations for our young people.”
