The graduates and their families then joined local dignitaries, prominent employers and college staff for a graduation reception in the grounds of Lincoln Castle.
Learners graduated in a wide range of subjects from herbal medicine and acupuncture to construction, engineering, business and teaching.
Guest of honour, The Order of St John Care Trust CEO Dan Hayes, gave the graduation address.
Dan Hayes was awarded companionship of Lincoln College for his significant contribution to developing the profile of the College.
He also attended the College’s opening of their new Care College earlier in the day.
Lincoln College Group CEO Gary Headland said: “We are immensely proud of the achievements of all those who graduated yesterday.
“The delivery of higher education and higher skills to meet the needs of our local and regional employers is pivotal to us achieving our mission of being employer-led, producing a highly-skilled and productive local workforce.”
“It was wonderful to see so many proud families, local employers, dignitaries and political stakeholders. I would like to thank Dan for attending and inspiring our students with his own story of lifelong learning and for his unswerving support, which we recognised with our highest honour during the ceremony.”
BA (Hons) Business and Management graduate Olivia Marston said: “It was amazing to graduate in the Cathedral tonight.
“Studying my degree with Lincoln College was the best experience – I’ve grown so much as a person.
“Not only has it given me more confidence, but I feel like my knowledge of the business world has grown massively.
“My tutors at Lincoln were so supportive – and the smaller class sizes and mentoring gave me one-to-one time so that I could get more personalised feedback on my work.
“Thank you to everyone at the College who’s supported and guided me along the way.”
