Learners from across the organisation were given a valuable insight in to the next steps available to them be that employment, apprenticeships or internal progression on a next level course, including Career Degrees.
Lincoln College curriculum areas exhibited alongside local employers enabling students to consider and research all further opportunities.
Level 3 Business student Ben Plant said: “There are a lot of businesses and stalls here, so I’ve got a good overview of all the different opportunities available after College.
“It’s been really good to meet some of the big businesses here like Lindum and Branston and I’ve taken lots of cards to make contact in the future.”
Steven Downing, Marketing and Business Development Manager at Lincoln Security said: “We’re here today looking to recruit apprentices. We’re always looking to touch base with engineers that have an interest in security to come and work with us.
“We struggle to find the specific skills needed in the security world, so having apprentices from Lincoln College with the basic fundamental knowledge, that we can then teach exactly how to go on is really useful.”
