After realising his dad was giving away the leftover chillies from his greenhouse to neighbours, Jack used his intuitive entrepreneurial skills to find a market for the surplus stash.
With his commercial mindset, Jack started cooking up a range of homemade hot sauces and founded his brand Dunholme Chillies in January 2016. He now sells a wide range of sauces, oils and vinegars online, in local shops and at events.
Jack went on to achieve the award for ‘Extraordinary Entrepreneurial Achievements’ at Lincoln College’s Annual Award Ceremony last year.
Head of Business, Social Care and Childcare, Sally Pinion said:
“We’re extremely proud of what Jack has achieved, his passion, hard work and determination has allowed him to create a strong and successful business.”
Jack said: “It’s great to be recognised after two years of hard work. Receiving the award has motivated me even more to succeed and grow my business even further.”
