The annual Sconce Fest takes place at Newark’s picturesque Sconce and Devon Park and hosts a range of fun activities and experiences for the whole family to enjoy, from face painting to circus skills and archery.
Representatives from the College manned a stand at the festival and were on hand to promote the variety of full-time courses and apprenticeships available. They also used to opportunity to gauge public interest in part-time community courses, while showing support for local events.
Advanced Curriculum Coach, Penny Taylor said: “ We were delighted to attend the Sconce Fest and be part of the range of activities taking place.
Newark College is keen to continue working with the local community to engage people of all ages in education and learning”.
