The programmes that have been created at the institutes have been designed in collaboration with employers, colleges, and universities to ensure students are work-ready and to offer clear career progression.

At the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology, our aim is to develop the talent and skills to drive exciting new age industries and play a role in enabling a dynamic, technology-driven economy.

We have a range of Level 4, 5 and 6 courses covering four IoT pathways - Automotive Electric/Hybrid, Digital Technologies, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and Construction and Civil Engineering.

About the IoT

The Lincolnshire Institute of Technology (IoT) is a collaboration between the University of Lincoln and Further Education providers across Greater Lincolnshire.

The IoT specialises in delivering high quality technical education across industries with a focus on Engineering, Digital, Automotive, Manufacturing, and Construction subjects, opening up opportunities for students to gain industry-relevant skills to overcome some of the key challenges facing the technical industries.

Our Facilities

A multi-million-pound investment has been made to refurbish our oldest Grade II listed Gibney building to house the IoT.

It has been designed to replicate the latest progressive working environments and has been equipped with the latest IT hardware, computing, electrical engineering and automotive engineering equipment.
