We’ve designed our Higher Level Skill Courses to help upskill graduates in their chosen sector or industry by supporting the development of both academic knowledge and vocational skills.

Our classes are smaller which means our students can receive more one-to-one time with their tutors, as well as engaging debates and collaborative working with fellow students.

With our condensed timetables, students may choose to work while studying, look after family or enjoy a better study-life balance.

Plus, our university-level students graduate in an annual ceremony held in and around the grounds of the historic Lincoln Cathedral.

Links to the individual course pages can be found at the bottom of this page or via the course search.

These courses offer a structured curriculum covering key concepts such as bookkeeping, budgeting, taxation, and financial analysis.

These programmes typically emphasise practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge, ensuring graduates are equipped with the expertise demanded by employers.

AAT courses often serve as a stepping stone towards professional certifications and degrees in accounting, offering a solid foundation for further education and career advancement.

Electric / Hybrid Vehicles

Automotive

Our Level 4 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle course has been developed in close liaison with industry specialists, electric vehicle manufacturers, training providers, the health and safety executive and the IMI Sector Skills Council.

On completion of this qualification, technicians will be able to practically demonstrate that they have the skills required for repairing high voltage vehicle systems and components.

This qualification is designed for technicians who maintain and repair electric/hybrid high voltage vehicle systems and components. It contains the knowledge and skills required to work on live high voltage vehicle electrical components and associated systems.

As well as gaining the qualification, you will also get free access to the IMI Professional Register with TechSafe acknowledgement. This shows your customers that you are a qualified professional.

The Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training develops practical teaching/training skills and prepares teachers and trainers to work in a wide range of contexts in the post-16 sector.

This qualification is suitable for anyone who: wants to develop their knowledge and skills of teaching and training with a specific focus on practical teaching/delivery; is currently teaching and/or training and wants to have their experience and practice accredited with a recognised qualification; is not currently in a teaching or training role but has the desire to and can meet the minimum teaching practice requirements of 30 hours (evidence of teaching practice must be provided at interview).
