The HND Construction Management for England (Construction Site Supervisor) (HTQ) programme is a vocational qualification designed to help students to develop a sound understanding of the leadership roles in management and execution of the construction process.
Students will have the opportunity to gain an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the regulatory, technological, social, legal and economic context of construction management.
This course is a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ). HTQs are technical qualifications that have been developed by employers and awarding bodies so students can develop the skills that employers want.

Entry requirements
Applicants are required to have:
HNC Qualification in Construction Management for England (Construction Site Supervisor)
Plus
GCSE English – Grade C/4 or above
GCSE Maths – Grade C/4 or above
EU and International Applicants
IELTS with an overall score of 6.0 and a minimum of 5.5 in each component. There are several Secure English Language Test (SELT) providers approved by the UK Visa and Immigration Service. More information about this can be found on the Gov. website here.
Study Details
Students will study on the Lincoln College Campus for the full durations of the course. Part-time, two years. One day per week.
Course contact hours are typically comprised of: six hours theory sessions per week, one-two hours practical/seminar sessions per week. It is expected that students complete between one and six hours of additional independent study per week in order to be successful on this programme.
Whilst the sessions delivered at College are typically six hours between a time frame of 9am – 7.30pm, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, it is expected that students make themselves available to complete part-time sector specific work or work experience hours outside of these times. Many of the opportunities offered through the college will require commitment during evenings and weekends.

HND qualifications are widely recognised in their own right and provide students with the skills required for employment in a range of associated professions. On successful completion of the course students may top up to degree level at another higher education institution.

Terms & Conditions
This course is validated by Pearson. The validating institution is responsible for awarding the qualification at the end of the programme. Students on validated courses are OfS registered, funded and taught at Lincoln College and it is the responsibility of the College to manage all aspects of this provision. The validating institution maintains an oversight of the programme throughout the academic year and must be satisfied that students are being taught in line with the required academic standards of the awarding institution.
