Here are the activities that will be covered during the 12 week course:
Throwing - cylinder forms.
Throwing - bowl forms.
Throwing - flat wares
Turning bowl and cylinder forms.
Throwing practice/individual choice. Glazing and complete all thrown work.
Design work following specific theme.
Hand built forms from composite pieces.
Hand built forms - assembling.
Hand built forms - Surface decoration, working oxides and stains on the surface. Recording decorative techniques Glazing and complete all work.
There are no qualifications required for this course. This course is only available to learners who are 19+
There is no formal assessment
The course fee included materials equivalent to 1 bag of clay. Additional materials can be purchased through the college or independently.
