Hospitality students from Lincoln College, East Riding College, Grimsby Institute and Scarborough TEC will compete in restaurants across the region in the new 13 part series.
Local broadcaster Estuary TV, who cover northern Lincolnshire via Freeview Channel 8 and Virgin Media 879, have created the cookery competition series that will be presented by ‘The Lincolnshire chef’, Steven Bennett.
Students from Lincoln College’s Sessions Restaurant will be challenged to prepare and cook dishes selected by some of the most talented and experienced head chefs in the region.
Viewers will be able to see the effort, creativity and skill it takes to produce a variety of meals on time and to restaurant standard
Lincoln College Hospitality and Catering Instructor, Simon Walker said: “It’s a great opportunity for our students to show off. It’s also fantastic experience for them, as they’ll be working under pressure just like in industry - gearing them up for working life."
“This will really put their skills to the test."
