The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (IQA) is a comprehensive qualification designed for those involved in or aiming to oversee internal verification activities. It combines practical application with theoretical knowledge, equipping you to effectively plan, implement, and monitor internal quality assurance processes.

The qualification enables you to ensure the quality and reliability of assessments conducted by others, contributing to higher standards within your organisation.

    This course is a roll on/off course throughout the academic year and is completed using self-directed study and 1-1 sessions with a tutor.

  • Entry requirements

    You need to have a minimum of two assessor/tutors to internally verify for. Those two assessor/tutors must also have a minimum of two learners each. You will need to have a mentor and countersigner, who will support you throughout the duration of your course and will check your decisions made.

    Assessment & Progression

    You will be assessed through a practical observation and written assessments throughout the course. There will also be a professional discussion and several reflective tasks to complete.

    What You Will Need To Bring

    You’ll need general stationery items . Access to the Internet is useful but PCs are available on campus.
