Work experience placements - Social Sciences
Work experience placements can be made available through our engagement with local organisations. Some of our students have recently had work experience placements with WithYou Lincolnshire and the Family Assessment and Support Team (FAST) team at Lincolnshire County Council - enabling them to put theory into practice and make connections with those in the industry.
Free Gym Membership
All Lincoln College Group students can access free gym membership at our Deans Sports and Leisure facility. This includes classes and racquet sports.

Why did you choose this course and why Lincoln College University Centre?
The course was local to my home area and it was unlike anything else that was offered in the UK.
I understand other courses offer this at university but to have its own policing college was unique. I also knew I would benefit from the college learning environment, smaller classes and less timetable due to my learning style.
What did you enjoy most about your course?
I enjoyed being in a small class as we all got on really well and the teachers were fantastic at supporting us through.
What advice would you give to someone else looking at studying the same course?
Enjoy it and don’t take the less days in for granted as it allows you to manage your time better. And I would recommend living in Lincoln if you have the opportunity to as it enhances the university experience.
Do you have any further comments about the course or Lincoln College University Centre?
I would recommend the course if people are a little reluctant to go to university as the learning environment and style makes it a lot less daunting.
