A-Level Students Help Local Womens Refuge

The students collected a range of items to donate to the refuge which is part of the West Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Service.

The donations will help to support women who are using the secure, purpose-built accommodation to escape from domestic abuse.

The West Lincolnshire Refuge is a place a home for women and children where they can rediscover their self-esteem and independence.

Year 12 Lead, Christine Thompson said:

“It’s great to see my students getting involved with this charity and helping others who find themselves in a situation less fortunate than theirs."

AS-Level Student Rachel Earl said:

“At Christmas it’s not about how much we give but how much love we put into it. As a group with fun and laughter, we wrapped these gifts to give to those less fortunate than us.

“For all at the women’s refuge, we wish you a merry Christmas.”
