Students from sport, uniformed public services, skills for progression, child care, health and social care and business courses took part in the two-hour sessions.
They included activities that were designed to help learners build on their team work, communication, resilience and problem solving skills.
Level 3 Business student Vilne Zapolskyte said: “It’s been interesting learning more about what the Army do and I definitely feel like I’ve come away with a different outlook.
“I feel like I’ve learnt some really important skills that I’ll be able to use during my time at college as well as later on in my working life.”
Engagement Officer Warrant Officer 2 Brett Thompson said: “We’re trying to get into schools and colleges to change the perception of the Army and show people the vast range of careers that are possible.
“We want to inspire young people and help them unlock their potential.”
