Engineering apprentices swept up by Environment Agency

Francesca Montgomery and James Kendrick are looking forward to starting their level 3 apprenticeship and taking their next steps on the career ladder.

The Environment Agency has signed up two apprentices studying Civic Engineering for Technicians at Lincoln College.

James said: “I am excited about starting this level of apprenticeship with the Environment Agency and progressing through this on-the-job style training programme.

“What makes it even better, is that Lincoln College will be the training provider in the partnership meaning the study side will be local.”

David Oliver, Apprenticeship Account Manager said: “Lincoln College are thrilled to be working with the Environment Agency and supporting their apprentices, helping to produce a highly skilled and productive local workforce.

“Apprenticeships remain the most cost effect way of training employees, enabling them to gain valuable industry relevant experience and earn a wage at the same time.”
