
The Lincoln College Pan Ability football team took to the pitch today at Ravendale Sports Ground, facing off in a spirited competition against teams from Nottingham College, Leicester College, Loughborough College and Inspire You.
The team is part of Project You, a Lincoln College initiative that brings together students from Supported Education and Carpentry & Joinery. It promotes inclusion by creating a space where individuals with a wide range of disabilities and impairments can come together and play the sport they love.
Kieran Hardy, Sport and Wellbeing Facilitator and Coach of the Pan Ability Team at Lincoln College, said: "I couldn’t be prouder of this group – their commitment, teamwork and determination have been outstanding. They show up week after week, not just to play football, but to support one another and grow as individuals.
“Team sport has such a powerful impact on wellbeing – it builds confidence, friendships and a real sense of purpose. What this team has achieved, both on and off the pitch, is something really special."
Made up of 12 dedicated players, the Lincoln College team represents a broad range of skills and determination. The squad includes:

Their appearance at Ravendale follows an impressive performance at the Pan Ability National Finals in Nottingham just a few weeks ago, where the team secured a fantastic second place finish – a testament to their hard work and cohesion.
Looking ahead, the squad will now prepare for one of their biggest opportunities yet: the St George’s Cup, which will take place on 14th May at England’s official training ground. Qualifying for this prestigious tournament is a major milestone, and the players are eager to represent Lincoln College on such a renowned stage.
With momentum building and team spirit running high, Lincoln College’s Pan Ability team continues to prove that inclusivity and ambition go hand in hand in the world of sport.
