The competition is in its 42nd year with students from other colleges from around the East Midlands taking part.
In recent years the competition has been generously supported by the college hosting the event along with trade suppliers and companies donating a variety of prizes.
Graham Stanney, Carpentry and Joinery Instructor at Lincoln College said “We are really pleased to be hosting this year’s competition.
“We are keen to make this a worthwhile experience for all the students involved and are looking to secure award support from businesses, through sponsorship or contribution, which will motivate and inspire the competitors to be creative.
“We would welcome local businesses to get in touch and support our next generation of carpenters.”
