A-level student at Lincoln College, Eve, will be taking part in the Roller Derby World Cup in Philadelphia during July this year.
She said: “I feel absolutely ecstatic and thrilled to be a part of something so amazing and I’m glad I’m helping the moving forward of junior roller derby – I’m so excited!”
To apply, Eve had to send in footage of herself playing in games and has been taking part in roller derby for over six years.
She said “I’ve been interested in roller derby since I was nine after watching my mum play.
“I then started to train with the Lincolnshire Bombinos when I was 11.”
