What Will the Apprentice Be Doing?
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What You’ll Do at Work
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
Produce high-precision components from raw material
Strong attention to detail
Able to work within health and safety guidelines
What Training Will the Apprentice Take and What Qualification Will the Apprentice Get at the End?
The apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in L3 Machining Technician.
The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course.
This is a Day Release programme, which means you will attend Newark ASI college 1 day a week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours.

What is the Expected Career Progression After this Apprenticeship?
Candidates will rotate through the workshop on a 6-month rotation, gaining the skills and knowledge required to set and operate a variety of CNC mills and lathes.

GCSE in:
English and Maths (grade A*/9 – C/4) - Essential

Please note that our site is located out of town. Candidates, particularly those who do not drive, should ensure they can reliably travel to and from the workplace.
