Do you work in adult health care and want a better understanding of dignity and safeguarding in your workplace? This course is for you.
The responsibilities of care workers involved in protecting the health, well-being and human rights of individuals are far-reaching. Allowing individuals to live free from harm, abuse and neglect can often mean involving health agencies, government departments or the police.
An estimated 818,000 adults received publicly funded long-term social care and 224,000 episodes of short-term care in 2021/22 (according to the King's Fund), which is increasing yearly, meaning the need for more skilled individuals in this field is ever-growing.
