Studying biology develops thinking skills, lab skills, and a greater understanding of the human body. It also encourages an appreciation and respect for the environment.

Studying GCSE Biology will give you a good understanding of human biology, organisms, evolution, and the environment.

You will learn how biology fits into your everyday life, with topics ranging from 'Keeping Healthy' to 'Humans and Their Environment' and much more.

This single science GCSE is offered part-time and runs in the evening. It is a course for 19+ learners who need a GCSE in a science subject for career or education progression, such as Teaching. The course is demanding as you will be expected to complete it in one year.
