Learner and owner of Precision Group Services, William Butcher, said: “I’ve got quite a lot of experience in the industry already, but I never got my 2391 and regulations change in October 2026, so I took the opportunity to take the course. It’s been great and the tutors have been very knowledgeable and helpful.
“I definitely recommend the course as you learn so much about the industry.”
The course is aimed at those who wish to gain qualifications in periodic inspection and testing as well as initial verification of new systems. This covers both Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing.
The course takes in inspection requirements of BS 7671 as well as determining how to carry these inspections out.
It also explores the sequence of tests and identifies why specific tests must be done before others.
It then takes a look at the certification of installations using BS7671 model forms.
For the periodic inspection side, learners identify why periodic inspection and testing may be the most suitable means for a client to comply with legislation.
It then Identifies the risks and limitations with inspection and testing existing electrical installations already in service, as well as identifying how best to apply judgement to determine whether an installation is fit for continued use.
This course is delivered by:
