Apprentice Engineering Operative - ADR UK Tyremart

As an apprentice at ADR UK Tyremart, you will gain hands-on experience in the agricultural machinery and trailer manufacturing industry, working alongside skilled engineers and technicians in a busy workshop environment.

What Will the Apprentice Be Doing?

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What You’ll Do at Work

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Reading pick list, picking products and delivering components to the workshop area

  • Reading drawing, assembling the products using standard ADR equipment and welding the components together

  • Preparing all the goods ready for shipment

What Training Will the Apprentice Take and What Qualification Will the Apprentice Get at the End?

  • The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in L2 Engineering operations (Welding and assembly)

  • The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course

  • This is a Day Release programme, which means you will attend Lincoln college 1 day a week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours

What is the Expected Career Progression After this Apprenticeship?

Qualifications
GCSE in:

  • English and Maths (grade A*/9 – C/4) - Essential
