Start your carpentry journey with this Level 1 Site Carpentry Evening Course at Lincoln College.

This course is designed for you if you’re new to carpentry or want to build your confidence in joinery and construction tasks. It provides the foundational skills and knowledge you’ll need to progress in carpentry.

During this course, you’ll learn:

  • Tooling techniques for site carpentry

  • Constructing and installing carpentry elements, such as:

  • Doors and skirting

  • Architraves

  • Floor joists

  • Roof structures

    Entry requirements

    You will ideally have a desire to want to progress onto a Diploma Level 2 programme. This course is designed for you if you are new or unconfident in Carpentry & Joinery.

    Assessment & Progression

    You will be assessed on practical and theory elements, through product creation, and written and online tests.

    Progression from here could be into employment or onto the Bench Joinery programme.

    What You Will Need To Bring

    You will need appropriate workwear, protective footwear, safety glasses and ear defenders. You’ll also need general stationary and access to the internet for the theory aspects.

    £1083.50 for those aged 19 years and over only. Fees are subject to change, concessions may apply. Please note that where stated, fees are for the first year of a course only.
