Lincoln College University Centre has received outstanding feedback from Pearson's External Examiner for its Engineering Higher National provision.
The review was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the high standards, excellent facilities, and strong student support in place.
During the visit, the external examiner engaged with learners, who expressed confidence in their educational experience. It was noted that students had no concerns regarding their courses, with assessments being well-planned and effectively managed.
Timely and constructive feedback was also a key strength identified, ensuring students remained engaged and on track with their studies.
Beyond academics, the College’s staff received commendation for their accessibility, support, and deep subject knowledge.
The effective use of Canvas, the College’s virtual learning environment, was praised as well as the excellent higher education facilities, including dedicated Higher Education spaces and the wider library team.
Most notably, the review emphasised that standards at the College are consistently high and well-maintained.
According to the findings, all students spoken with would recommend the College to their friends and family. The review went on to describe Lincoln College’s approach as “best practice” and commended the team’s diligence in maintaining quality education.
“This feedback is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff,” said Mel Watson, Assistant Principal of Higher Education, at Lincoln College University Centre.
