The aim of this course is to provide progression from the Care College programme. It will provide you with the knowledge and skills to progress into employment or onto a relevant L3 programme.
You will undertake a minimum of 315 Industry Placement hours within a suitable health and social care setting throughout the course. Successful completion of this programme could allow you to progress into employment or onto a relevant Level 3 programme or apprenticeship, preparing you for employment within the sector.
During the course of the programme, your study will include the following:

health safety and well-being,
duty of care,
safeguarding and protection.
Entry requirements
Completion of Care College programme and ability to study at Level 2
Assessment & Progression
Assessment is a combination of continuous assessment throughout the programme; both in college and on placement. Progression Successful achievement of this qualification will enable progression into employment with the health and social care sector or onto a relelvant L3 course.
